This Year -- 2006

May all your wishes be granted.

May all the children be safe.

May all the soldiers be home by this time next year.

May all your debts be repaid.

May you know the love of a good man or woman.

May you know how important you are.

May your favorite team win.

May your hope become a dream which becomes you.

May you know what everyone that serves knows: we live in a blessed country with blessed people.

Happy New Year...

Colonel Hunt

Col Hunt:
I love this post. I am going to make a copy of it and look at it every now and then this year.

Col. Hunt,
I am taking your wishes very personally, because I know that all of them (except maybe my team winning!) are not just wishes, but goals that we all can have and work toward.

The soldiers being home next year, - that will just have to be a prayer.

Col Hunt,
Happy Birthday! The reason that I remember is that 2 years ago on this day you were on Fox and Friends and celebrated your birthday. It was a really cute montage of your interviews. It was the same day that I was celebrating the birthday of a really sweet girl that I know (only 23 years old today!) and when I said that she had the great honor of being born on Col. David Hunt's Birthday, she said "Is that that guy you always talk about but noone has ever heard of?
